- Beware online shopping

In case any of you didn't yet know, my book, BABYNOMICS, is available to buy from today.
Now, while I give myself a hearty pat on the back, it's worth noting just who sells it and for how much.

It is not always the case that the internet is cheaper. It really depends on which website you go to. Nor is it true that the RRP will be the top price you will be expected to pay. Here are some of the websites that are stocking my book and how much they are charging.

Bottom of the pile is play.com, charging a whopping £10.99 - that's a pound over the odds. Next in the hall of shame is Tesco, charging 50 pence more than the RRP, at £10.49.

There is a clump of retailers charing the recommended price - £9.99, including Waterstones, WH Smith, tscshop.co.uk and Blackwells.

However, for those money saving parents who wish to start as they mean to go on, the shop to visit is Amazon. They are charging just £7.49  -  £2.50 discount on the recommended retail price and yet you still get all the same good bits!

So, shop around before you buy and don't believe that just because you're buying online, you're saving money.
Happy reading
